Empowering Women in Construction

With the ultimate aim of increasing the number and proportion of women in senior positions in construction, the Female Leaders in Construction (FLIC) community is: * Creating a supportive network for senior women leadership in construction * Helping to enhance the visibility of senior women in construction, ensuring equal representation at events and panels * Championing other women in construction * Building confidence and skills of women in construction, including sharing best practices. We hosted FLIC's Summer workshop at Material Source in Glasgow, bringing together the FLIC community. Lynsay Bell Manson of Studio LBA shared her design trend insights, showcasing her impressive work on her farm development, which includes her home, architectural studio, and commercial letting premises. Additionally, Marie Hosie of Crown Paints, part of the Hempel Group, discussed the psychology of colour and its impact on our physiology, highlighting the importance of inclusivity for senior women leadership and women in construction.
